Senior Android Developer

As a Senior Android Developer, you will be a key contributor, driving the development of core features throughout the entire lifecycle of our mobile applications. Take the lead in discussions around Android technology and infrastructure, collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver high-impact solutions, particularly in Google Maps integration and data visualization.

• Develop core features for our Android applications, ensuring code quality and performance excellence.
• Lead discussions on Android technology and infrastructure, providing valuable insights and expertise.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver high-impact, user-friendly experiences.
• Leverage your extensive experience in Google Maps integration to enhance and optimize location-based features.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing production code for Android applications.
• Proven track record of architecting large-scale Android applications with a focus on long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Expertise in Kotlin programming language and a deep understanding of Android development best practices.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin concurrency and locking mechanisms.
• Strong familiarity with Google Maps integration and location-based services.
• Adherence to and exemplification of engineering fundamentals and best practices.
• Autonomy and initiative, with the ability to work effectively without extensive guidance

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within mature existing Android projects.
• Familiarity with Mapping Technologies such as Google Maps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
